About White Water Warehouse
The Rogue River's Most Creative, Full-Service Outfitter

In 1983 Bob Meister started Whitewater Warehouse which quickly became known as one of the best outfitters on the Rogue River. Personal service, friendly professional guides and acute attention to detail were all factors in creating a stellar reputation. Joy Henkle, Bob's wife, joined the team in 1998 to assist in guest trip coordination and service. For years she was the friendly voice that answered the phone.
A few years ago Bob and Joy decided it was time to retire and in the spring of 2011 passed the reins over to Betsy Bowen and Peter Grubb who, like Bob and Joy, have been running their own rafting company for over 25 years. Thus ROW Adventures and Whitewater Warehouse are now being operated under the same experienced leadership. Betsy and Peter have had the same focus and emphasis on high-quality guest service as Bob and Joy and share many of the same values.
For example you'll continue to see locally-sourced food and beverages on our Rogue River trips. You'll continue to see a creative variety of special-interest trips such as culinary trips, a craft beer adventure, women-only departures and much more. We'll be continuing with some of the same guides that guests have enjoyed for years, and introducing you to some new faces as well. Rest assured that these are the best guides on the Rogue River who have years of experience and who love to share their knowledge about the plants, animals, geology and river environment.
As you consider your choice of rafting companies for your Rogue River rafting trip, we understand that you want to be sure you're making the right choice. You won't find a company with more overall experience than ROW Adventures' Whitewater Warehouse. Betsy and Peter started out as guides in the late 1970's and started ROW in 1979. They have dedicated their lives to running the finest river rafting adventures in the world. They raised their two children on the river and running family trips is a special passion of theirs. Both their children are now guides, and all love being out on our trips and sharing the wonders of nature with our guests, many of whom have become lifelong friends.
Having taken thousands of guests on river trips, we've learned a lot. So, when nature throws curve balls, which it's prone to do, we have the experience to turn them into home runs. As well, our office staff is extremely well-informed and can answer all your questions and help you choose the Rogue River trip that will best suit your needs. Maybe you'd like to know where the others already signed up are from and their ages? We can tell you, as we think this is an important part of choosing a date. We can also tell you what sort of weather conditions to expect, the nature of the rapids, whether you might enjoy a lodge or camping trip more, etc.
Bob and Joy maintained strong relations with the various lodge owners along the Rogue River and we will do the same. These long-standing relationships are one reason that Whitewater Warehouse is one of the few Rogue River rafting companies that can offer lodge-based rafting trips and lodge-based Rogue River hiking trips. This unique concept is just one more reason the Rogue River is such a unique river rafting experience.
We invite you to call or email us with any questions you might have.
