And, as the famous "Cheers" song suggests,
"Wouldn't you like to get away?"
"Where everybody knows your name,
and they're always glad you came."
We at White Water Warehouse
love our guests and feel lucky that there are many folks
who choose to raft, kayak, and inner tube with us year
after year. We hope that is because we offer them care-free
vacations. We also hope, in part, it is because our guests
feel that everyone in our company genuinely likes them,
likes getting to know about their lives, and their names!
Long-time WWW guests
Thea and Harry Brink are prime examples. The Brink's first
experience with our company was purchasing a trip we had
donated to the local Boys & Girls Club (WWW supports and
believes in the Boys & Girls Club mission). After their
first Rogue trip in 1991, the Brinks continued to travel
with us year after year.
Today, we are fortunate
to call the Brinks not only valued clients but friends
as well. Our river guides have grown up with their children,
Michelle, Peter, Cynthia, and Angie watching them develop
from young kids into wonderful adults; productive citizens.
Over the years we have
seen Thea and Harry's lives change as well. Harry, a family
practice physician (physician extraordinaire), just recently
retired from his full-time practice and is looking forward
to a less hectic schedule. Harry, ever the physician,
says about his Rogue trips with us, "It is the best medicine
one could prescribe or take!"
Thea, a registered nurse
(and all-round wonderful person), is also looking to work
less/travel more. Thea says about her numerous trips with
WWW, "The Rogue camping trips offer the best scenery with
plenty of excitement. The food is fantastic and the company
always fun whether it's family or new friends we meet
on the trips. Each trip is exhilarating and exciting no
matter how many times we've been down the river. It is
truly a privilege to experience rafting at its best with
the experienced and professional expertise of WWW's staff
and crew."
Thea and Harry are part
of the wonder of owning a family business like ours. It
allows us to really get to know our guests. We truly enjoy
interacting with them-from the first contact in the office
through the final good-byes at the take-out. And we're
always glad they came.
