"Makes me feel like a kid again."

Inner tubing fun rapids. Munching great "outdoor" food. Basking in the long, hot summer days. Who wouldn't feel like a kid again?!?

Long-time WWW guest, Robin Heyeck, gave that description to us when we asked why she so loved the majestic Rogue River. For 20 years, Robin has joined us on this beautiful, natural playground. Often, she comes alone. For her this is a magical time. It is a time to get in touch with fond recollections, stirring within her a treasure chest of childhood memories.

"On the Rogue I get to be 10 years old again. I don't have to worry about a thing. I get to play and, I believe, investing time in play is very valuable," says Robin.

"Even though I am now retired, my life is full of schedules and obligations. When I get on the river each year, those responsibilities fade away. I re-connect with the luscious smells, sounds, wildlife, and flowers that are a part of this river experience."
