Rogue River Hiking Trail Lodge Trips
One of the best hiking trails in the nation...

Oregon's Rogue River Trail is truly one of North America's best
hiking trails. Recently, this lodge-to-lodge Rogue River Oregon
hiking trail trip has been getting a great amount of national
press, and for good reason. On this unique Oregon hiking trip, you
will find fascinating historical sites, incredible
wildlife viewing, some of the best wild flower shows, crystal-clear
waterfalls, and dramatic canyon vitas. The Rogue River trail winds
for over 40 miles with much of it looking down on the rugged Rogue
River canyon. The views from atop the Rogue trail are breathtaking.
All these attributes make this Oregon inn to inn hiking trip one of
the continent's finest.
Your Rogue River Oregon Inn-to-Inn Hiking Trail
Trip
Hike the Rogue River trail all day and then step off the trail
into the comfort and hospitality of a unique and rustic riverside
lodge for the evening. Each morning you'll enjoy a country
breakfast and then you are on the trail again and off to experience
another historic Rogue River lodge. White Water Warehouse has
long-standing relationships with all the lodges. In fact, we were
one of the first companies to offer these hiking adventures. The
three different lodges or inns that we utilize are located between
our put-in site and the end of the trail. The first day of the
Rogue River trail hike is about 10 miles, the second day is around
14 miles, third day is 9 miles, and the fourth day is around 8
miles. The three Rogue River trail lodges offer you a totally
different experience-from the rooms, to the food, to the
innkeepers, each is unique and wonderful in its own way.
How does White Water Warehouse offer the best Oregon
hiking experience?
The first day we will meet you at a comfortable, easy-to-reach
location at the Galice Resort in Merlin, Oregon. You will meet your
lead guide and he will explain the next four days to everyone in
the hiking group. Often the lead guide is our owner, Bob Meister.
Bob has been running these Rogue River hiking trips for a couple
decades so he is incredibly knowledable about the history, flora,
and wildlife on the trail. Next, you are shuttled to the trailhead
and on your way for the 10 mile Rogue River trail hike to the first
lodge. Each day at noon, you will move down towards the river where
a luncheon feast is set up for you and the other hiking guests.
White Water Warehouse's owners and staff pride themselves on being
true "foodies" so we offer farm-fresh, Oregon fruits and vegetables
to our guests. After lunch you continue your Oregon Rogue River
trail hike into a lodge where you will stay the night in a private
cabin with attached bathrooms (note, prices based on double
occupancy). White Water Warehouse offers complimentary evening
snacks plus beer and wine to all our hiking guests. You will
continue this fantastic Oregon lodge to lodge hiking adventure
until the fourth day. On that day, a van meets hikers at the end of
the trail to take them back over the mountain to their
waiting vehicles. All this for one, all-inclusive price.
