Oregon Kayaking Trips, Rogue River
Kayaking the Rogue: About as much fun as a human being
can handle!

Do you crave the feeling of being close to the water as you make
your way strategically downriver? If so, kayaking--inflatable or
hardshell--is the river running option is for you. The freedom to
take yourself into the smallest of river eddies or bounce over the
rock-n-roll rapids is a feeling like no other.
The famous Rogue River offers almost 100 rapids and ripples over
the 43 miles of wild and scenic solitude. And the best part is that
there are so few folks on the river (the protected section of the
Rogue River that Whitewater Warehouse runs only allows for 120
boaters/rafters to launch each day!) that you will be moving freely
through this beautiful river canyon.
The Rogue River is known as a "pool and drop" river. This simply
means that you will manuever your kayak through a fun series of
rapids and then end up in a quiet pool of water. Absolutely perfect
for the beginner boater and challenging enough for the expert.
But, no need to worry. If you don't feel like kayaking through a
series of rapids, we encourage you to pop on the raft and enjoy the
ride. Either another guest will take the helm of your inflatable
kayak or we will simply attached it to the raft. This option gives
YOU the control to decide when you wish to paddle and when you
don't.
