If you are a person who enjoys an active paddling adventure, call and talk to our office staff. We offer inflatable kayaks (single and double person options). The inflatable kayaks or "Duckies" (our staff also calls them "IKs") are something our company is known for. Even if you have never commandeered an IK in your life, you will probably pick up the necessary skills quickly and easily. IKs are free of charge to our guests and we can supply enough to outfit the entire group!

Our AIRE inflatable kayaks are highly stable and maneuverable boats that allow even the "beginner" paddler an enjoyable experience. Many people use them for the entire trip. Some  like to use them in the calm stretches, while others enjoy manuevering them through the roller coaster rapids. The choice is yours! Kids and teens usually spend a great deal of their river trip paddling in the duckies.

The Rogue is a river that is very friendly. While there are numerous Class II and Class III rapids, there are also many stretches of calm, warm water. It is a river that is perfectly situated, in our opinion, for using inflatable kayaks.

If you feel like you would like to try an inflatable kayak on your river trip with us, just give our office staff a ring and give us a "heads up." Rest assured that you will not be obligated to paddle the entire river. More than likely you will find other folks on the trip interested in trying out the IKs--so it is easy to share them.

On the other hand, if you know you will want to paddle the IK the entire river trip, just let our office staff know and they will reserve a kayak specifically for you for the entire trip.

• We had a great time. We loved our guides. We loved the lodges. We saw wildlife like black bears, blue heron, bald eagles and diving osprey. My daughters loved Jonny. Everyone took turns in the kayaks and tubes. But most of all, you did a fantastic job of putting together people who just hit it off right away.
