Rogue River lodge-to-lodge rafting, hiking and kayaking vacations
Rogue River Lodge-to-Lodge Trips: mixing comfort & pure
fun!
Oregon's Rogue River lodges are
unique in many ways. Rustic but friendly, these riverside lodges
provide a
wonderful haven for White Water Warehouse's guests each summer.
They are located right off the river's edge along the wilderness
section of southern Oregon's Rogue River.

Nationally, there are only one or
two other protected wild and scenic rivers that offer whitewater
travelers riverside lodges…most rafting rivers only offer guests
camping options. The two lodges that Whitewater Warehouse books
most trips through are: Black Bar Lodge (your first night) and
Marial Lodge (your second night). If you choose to book a longer
trip than three days with us, we often contract with other
downriver lodges: either Paradise Lodge or Clayhill
Lodge.
During the day you will raft with
Whitewater Warehouse on our special comfort-designed pontoon rafts
(no one else on the river has boats like these…we build them and we
use them for all our lodge trips).

Mid-day you will lunch riverside
and enjoy a gourmet meal that includes many of the foods that
Oregon is famous for producing.
Around 5 p.m. each evening you
will find yourself at one of the famous Rogue River lodges and be
assigned a cabin or room (generally double occupancy but some rooms
can accommodate up to five people). Whitewater Warehouse's guides
offer you Oregon hors d'oeuvres before the start of each dinner.
Depending on the lodge, dinner times will vary so you may have time
for a short hike before your meal begins.
The cabins or rooms generally
each have two twin beds (the lodges were originally designed for
fishermen, thus the twin beds) with separate, private bathrooms
with showers. Very nice, although a little rustic. Since the lodges
run on generators, they ask that you not bring hair dryers on your
trip.
Mornings you will awake to a
country breakfast prepared and served by the lodge staff and off
you go for another exciting day on the river with the wonderful WWW
guides.
