Raft or Kayak the Rogue River—it is your choice!
WWW has found over the 25 years of rafting the Rogue River canyon that the best experience for our guests is to provide an “oar raft” for transportation. What this means is that our guides do all the work, using two long oars attached to a rowing frame on the raft. Our guests sit back and relax.
If you are a person who enjoys a more active adventure, call and talk to our office staff. We offer inflatable kayaks and have paddle rafts available as well (for camp trips only). The inflatable kayaks (our staff calls them “IKs”) are great fun. Even if you have never commandeered an IK, you will probably pick up the necessary skills quickly and easily. The IKs are free of charge to our guests.
We also welcome hardshell kayakers to join any of our Rogue trips. Bob and Joy, White Water Warehouse’s owners, are hardshell kayakers and understand kayakers’ needs. The WWW office staff can assist those who are traveling from afar with kayak equipment rental. See our kayak rental page for more information.
The Rogue is a river that is very friendly. While there are numerous Class II and Class III rapids, there are also many stretches of calm, warm water. We explain in more depth the Rogue’s rapid classifications on our River Rapids Classifications page.
