If You're Arriving By Car: From
I-5 (north or south) take Exit 61 to Merlin, 3 miles west of I-5.
Continue for another 14.5 miles to the Rand Boat Launch.
If You're Arriving By Air: The
nearest commercial airport is Rogue Valley
International Airport in Medford, Oregon. United, Horizon and
Alaska service this airport. If you are a private pilot you could
fly into Grants Pass
Airport, a mere 20 minutes from the Rand boat launch put in.
Shuttle service can be arranged from the airport to your
accommodations in Grants Pass or Merlin, and then on to the Galice
Resort in the morning. This shuttle can also pick you up at the
Galice Resort the afternoon you return from the river and return
you to the airport or, to your accommodations if your flight is not
