Black Bar Lodge Marial Lodge
Paradise Lodge Clayhill Lodge:
The Famous Rogue River Lodges
Rogue River lodges are
unique in many ways. Rustic but friendly, these lodges
provide a wonderful
haven for Whitewater Warehouse's guests each summer.
They are located right off the river's edge on the wilderness
section of southern Oregon's Rogue River.
Nationally, there are
only one or two other protected wild and scenic rivers
which offer overnight lodging…most rafting rivers only
offer guests camping options. The two lodges that Whitewater
Warehouse books trips through are: Black Bar Lodge (your
first night) and Marial Lodge (your second night). If
you choose to book a longer trip than three days with
us, we often contract with another downriver lodge: either Paradise
Lodge or Clayhill
Lodge.
Best of all, Whitewater
Warehouse offers the largest selection of lodge dates
of any other outfitter on the Rogue River! Check out our dates and rates.
During the day you will
raft with Whitewater Warehouse on our special-comfort
designed pontoon rafts (no one else on the river has boats
like these…we build them and we use them for all our lodge
trips).
Around 5 p.m. each evening
you will stop at the Rogue River riverside lodge and be
assigned a cabin or room (generally double occupancy but
some rooms can accommodate up to five people). Whitewater
Warehouse guides offer great hors d'oeuvres before the
start of dinner. Depending on the lodge, dinner times
will vary so you may have time for a short hike before
your meal begins.
The cabins or rooms generally
each have two twin beds (the lodges were originally designed
for fishermen, thus the twin beds) with separate, private
bathrooms with shower. Very nice, although a little rustic.
Since the lodges run on generators, they ask that you
not bring hair dryers on your trip.
Mornings you will awake
to a country breakfast prepared and served by the lodge
staff and off you go for another exciting day on the river
with the wonderful WWW guides.
