Oregon Rogue River Fishing Trips
Each year, thousands of eager fisherman take
on the Rogue in dorries hoping to catch the beautiful half-pounders
(small steelhead). Even the famous author Zane Grey lived on the
banks of the Rogue part of the year and weaved fishing tales from
this rugged river into his many books.
Whitewater Warehouse owner Bob Meister has fished the wild &
scenic Rogue River for over 20 years. Here he is shown with a
beautiful native Steelhead. Don't worry, the fish was immediately
released back into the water as soon as the photo was snapped.
