Gourmet food and wine rafting trips with an Oregon twist!

If you are a true "foodie" and love the idea of pairing
incredible cuisine and wonderful wines with a superb whitewater
rafting experience, call us. Traditionally, we have offered our
gourmet wine and food trip every other year (for about the last ten
years...we were the original folks to offer such a trip!) but our
phones really heat up each time a media outlet writes about or
profiles Whitewater Warehouse's unique epicure rafting trips.
In the past, most of our gourmet rafting trips have featured
Italian, country-side cuisine matched with vintage wines. Chef
Morse travels regularly to Italy (and the countryside of Oregon!)
to discover the best regional foods and wines. He brings with
him a unique understanding of food but he is also an experienced
Rogue River oarsman--a perfect combination!
On this one-of-a-kind trip, you'll raft each day through the
spectacular Rogue River canyon, lunching riverside. Each evening,
you will overnight in one of two historic Rogue River lodges--Black
Bar and Marial. There, you will enjoy superb wines matched with
mouth-watering hors d'oeuvres and multi-course gourmet meals,
paired with complementary wines.

This year's Rogue River gourmet wine and food trip is scheduled
for Saturday, June 26 - Monday, June 28, 2010 and is now
full. However, we have opened up another gourmet rafting
trip that has another fabulous Oregon "twist." Check out our

. This trip is also a 3-day, 2-night lodge to lodge
gourmet rafting trip priced at $1040 per guest and is an
adults-only trip. Price includes meals (from lunch the first day
through lunch the last day), and southern Oregon's own Organic Nation
Spirits micro-distilled gin and vodka to match the gourmet meal
courses, lodging, gear, shuttle back to your vehicle at the end of
the trip, all government fees--this gourmet rafting trip is
all-inclusive.

Chef Matt Morse is back to entertain and delight you with his passion for Italy’s rustic foods and fabulous wines. Matt has been Whitewater Warehouse’s resident “gourmet chef” for many years. His culinary and wine knowledge are impressive but not intimidating. His food is pure and true because it is born out of his many travels through Italy’s famed culinary Provinces. The June 26 - 28 gourmet wine/food trip is now FULL.
